The Deep End

In The Deep End, you are the lead scientist of a marine research expedition struggling to stay afloat amidst relentless budget cuts. As funding dwindles, you’ll embark on research expeditions, encounter diverse marine life, and strive to document your findings before time runs out. Every dive is an opportunity for discovery, but only the most strategic scientists will succeed in completing their research.

At the end of the expedition, you'll face the ultimate test: a government hearing. Will your discoveries be enough to justify continued funding and keep your research alive? Or will science sink beneath the weight of bureaucracy?

The Deep End is a strategic solo card game that blends deck-building, scientific discovery, and a sharp critique of funding politics in the research world.
